Blessings parents and children! I am Tawanna Davis, the founder of Kingdom Kidz Online Academy where it is my desire to build God’s kingdom, one child at a time! A 2011 graduate from Lasalle University Nursing Program, it was the Almighty’s calling for me to make the transition to become an educator. Taking a leap of faith, I decided to educate children internationally in Egypt, and China which I have over 10 years of experience teaching both in the brick and mortar and virtual setting.
Working for VIPKID, the #1 online education platform, I had the wonderful opportunity to teach over 10,000 students, write and illustrate children’s stories for the Chinese community, and partner with the Alibaba business mogul, Jack Ma in teaching many children throughout rural China who do not have access to quality education.
As an educator, I offer more of a motherly approach: nurturing, stern, and creative. All children are intelligent and learn when it’s fun, in that I utilize several teaching methods proven to enhance their development and interest in learning. From song and dance to visual enhancements, I love to incorporate many educational modalities to create a fun learning atmosphere!
I am a current homeschooler and world schooler with over 8 years of experience which my gift from God in being a mother has allowed me to reach the hearts and minds of the youth. Proverbs 22:6
I look forward to seeing you have fun learning in the classroom!
